Job Description:

A warm, informal family based just outside Florence is seeking a hands-on, proactive Housekeeper to join their small team. The family is currently transitioning between properties while their main vineyard house undergoes renovation.

They are renting a secondary home nearby and need someone who can start immediately to support the setup and day-to-day running of this house, with the role later transitioning to the main residence. This is a busy household with three children and a lot of daily movement. The family values high standards but prefers a low-key, non-formal service style.

Key Responsibilities:

This role involves taking care of the daily cleaning and overall upkeep of the home, keeping everything organised, tidy and running smoothly throughout the day.

The candidate will work closely with the family and small team to maintain high household standards, with attention to detail when caring for materials, finishes and furnishings.

Duties will also include organising children's clothes and belongings, following established household systems and routines and helping with general household tasks as needed.

The home is already very structured and organised, so someone naturally tidy, proactive and happy to keep things flowing day to day would be ideal. Laundry is outsourced weekly and no formal table service is required.

Confidence in following existing systems, while also helping improve processes and create SOPs where appropriate, would be highly valued.

Above all, we are seeking someone discreet, trustworthy, reliable and comfortable working within an informal yet high-standard private household.

Ideally we are looking for local candidates as live out is preferred.
