Wanted: Facility Manager in the Middle East

We are urgently seeking a highly professional Facility Manager, to join a prestigious VIP residence within a private organization in the Middle East.

Salary: Starting from €78,000 per year (tax-free)
General Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Facility Management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering.
- Completion of a Management Course.
- Experience in Hotel Management Administration.
- Professional certification like CFM is preferable.
Main Duties:
- Oversee the daily operations of the facility, ensuring that all departments, including engineering, hospitality, and housekeeping deliver a consistently high standard of service.
- Managing the installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of building systems such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management, while ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Supervise contractors, identify areas for improvement, and assist in creating and managing budgets for maintenance and operations.
- Monitor inventory, conduct regular facility checks, review reports on repairs and incidents, and ensure the smooth execution of routine and preventive maintenance activities.
- Hire, train, coach, and assess team performance.
- Provide regular progress updates to management.
- Perform any special duties or projects as needed to support organisational goals.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Possess a strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management systems within buildings, along with a solid understanding of the regulations and safety codes that govern facility management and environmental standards.
- Have familiarity with health and safety protocols is essential, as well as proficiency in Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) systems and Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Be skilled in MS Office and have excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Have a high level of proficiency in both written and verbal English is required to comprehend technical manuals.
- Have the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment, coupled with effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, is crucial.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and possess hands-on field experience in facilities management.
